• What We Believe

    Who We Are

We are disciples of Jesus Christ. Our lives are ones of apprenticeship to the Master. We are broken people made Holy through Jesus, choosing to live together as a family of faith despite our brokenness.

    What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ was and is the only Son of God.

We believe that by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, our souls receive the Holy Spirit and that we are reborn as children of the Living God.

We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, reveals the unique and inspired Word of God so far as it is necessary for our salvation. It is to be received through the Holy Spirit, illumined by tradition, vivified in personal experience, confirmed by reason, and is the true rule and guide for faith and practice. Likewise, we affirm both the Apostles and Nicene Creeds as doctrine.

    Why We Go

We go in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to make disciples of Jesus Christ because we believe the world can be transformed by the love of God working through a Holy-Broken people. Therefore, the “Great Commission” of Jesus Christ as found in the Gospel according to Matthew, chapter 28, verse 19, stands as the focal point of our denominational and congregational mission.
