United Women in Faith

Christ Community United Women in Faith (formerly called United Methodist Women) is a community of women committed to mission/ Our purpose is to know God and to experience freedom through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

• Help support the local Meals on Wheels
• Provide fruit baskets to nursing home patients and shut-ins during the holidays
• Christmas in July: Coordinate the collection of gift cards to help children in our congregation with back to school clothing and other items
• Collect for Harvest Home
• Provide birthday gifts to Penn Manor Village nursing home residents one month a year
• Collect pennies in support of UMCOR
• Support children in the Life Care School and Watoto Ministries
• Donate to other local community needs when necessary
