Hook & Needle Ministry

To use the gifts and talents that God has given us to give back to him through fellowship, prayer and meeting the needs of others.

Fellowship:

Fellowship is multigenerational. We desire to reach out to shut-ins and those in nursing homes to learn from them and to pass on our gifts and talents to the next generation.

Prayer:

Praying over the needs of those in our group, in our church, in our community and to those we seek to serve.

Meeting Needs:

To use our talents to provide for the physical needs of others by producing hats, gloves, blankets, socks, etc. as well as, to provide community to shut-ins and youth alike.

Ministry opportunities are two fold:

First is to provide christian fellowship and multigenerational community for those in our church body and community.

Second is to use the gifts and talents that the Lord has given us to meet physical needs including:

• Hats and gloves for the Rock Church Ministry in Philadelphia
• Hats and gloves for patients in chemotherapy
• Hats, gloves and blankets for Haven Ministry
• Blankets for new borns

• Christian fellowship
• Opportunities to learn from more gifted and skilled individuals
• Teaching
• Learning to help with difficult patterns
• Being all-inclusive multigenerational (passing on talents and gifts to younger generations)
